Trio of Top-10 outings during Spring Nationals tripleheader through Tennessee and Virginia
Garrett Smith checked into I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Thursday evening for the first of three nights with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring National Series.
Smith locked into the $5,053-to-win event through qualifying and wound up with a seventh-place finish in the 40-lapper. The following night, Garrett finished sixth at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.) and recorded another Top-10 finish. Smith then ended the weekend with another sixth-place finish at Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway in Saturday's $21,000-to-win finale.
Garrett currently leads the Spring Nationals point standings.
