Fourth-place run in Southern Thunder show at Senoia Raceway
Hitting a single event over the first weekend of October, Garrett Smith checked in with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday afternoon for the $7,500-to-win Peach Blossom Special.
Locking in the seventh-starting position after qualifying fourth-fastest in his group, Smith made up three spots in the 50-lap feature to finish inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed Cory Hedgecock, Shane Clanton, and Haiden Cowan while Zack Mitchell completed the Top-5.
