Garrett Smith races into 55th-annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Kicking off the crown jewel weekend with twin $12,000-to-win preliminary nights, Garrett Smith joined a field of over 100 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the 55th-running of the World 100.
Garrett finished 23rd in his first preliminary feature of the weekend before he landed a 16th-place outing in his feature on Friday evening. Smith hit the six-car invert just right for Saturday's heat races and finished second which earned him a spot in the 100-lap, $72,000-to-win finale. Garrett started 10th and wound up 24th.
