Top-10 outing in 54th-running of World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Rolling into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon, Garrett Smith kicked off his World 100 week early with a $20,000-to-win Castrol FloRacing Night in America event.
Not making the A-Main on Wednesday, Smith turned his attention to the pair of preliminary nights on Thursday and Friday. Landing a sixth-place finish in his first prelim feature, Garrett finished 11th in his second $12,000-to-win feature.
On Saturday, Smith fell back to fifth in his heat race but received a provisional for the 100-lap main event. Storming forward from his 20th-place starting spot, Garrett raced his way to an eighth-place finish in the World 100.
