Garrett Smith joins Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals at I-75 Raceway
Competing in a lone event over Easter weekend, Garrett Smith was one of 39 Late Models checked in with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals on Friday afternoon at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.).
Clicking off the third-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Smith started second in his heat race but faded to finish seventh. Needing a Top-2 finish in his B-Main, Garrett recorded a sixth-place finish.
