Garrett Smith records fifth-place finish with Southern All Stars at Modoc Raceway
Garrett Smith followed the Southern All Star Series to South Carolina as the tour visited Modoc (S.C.) Speedway on Friday for the Ed Basey Memorial and Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Saturday for March Madness.
Picking up a heat race on night one, Smith started from the second-row in the $10,004-to-win feature event and completed the Top-5 in fifth. He trailed Brandon Overton, Cody Overton, Zack Mitchell, and Carson Ferguson.
Garrett closed out the doubleheader with a 17th-place finish in rain-shortened fearture on Saturday.
