Garrett Smith grabs Top-10 with Lucas Dirt at Golden Isles Speedway during Winternationals

Joining the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series as they wrapped up their 2026 Speedweeks, Garrett Smith was one of 40 Super Late Models at Golden Isles Speedway (Waynesville, Ga.) on Wednesday afternoon for the final four days of the Wieland Winternationals.

Garrett finished 14th and 19th in the opening two features of the week and picked up his best run on Friday night as he rounded out the Top-10 in 10th. Smith started 15th in the $12,000-to-win feature and made up five positions. Garrett then made the $25,000 finale on Saturday and wound up 20th.
